Excursion to Delfoi 28.5.

Welcome to an excursion organized by The Club of Production Engineering students to Delfoi on Tuesday, May 28th!

Delfoi develops, markets and supports Industry 4.0 solutions such as production planning & scheduling, robot offline programming and simulation solutions, and related consulting services for the industry. We will learn about all these business functions of Delfoi for two hours and after that the evening continues with sauna. The host offers towels, food and drinks for the participants.

Excursion starts 28th of May at 5pm at Delfoi office in Vänrikinkuja 2, and the sauna is hot until 10pm. Please be on time at the office. It’s easy to arrive to the office from Otaniemi for example with bus 550.

The Dresscode in VTK excursions is dark suit.

Excursion to Kavo Kerr on Wednesday 3.4.

Excursion to KaVo Kerr!
 
Welcome to an excursion organized by The Club of Production Engineering students to KaVo Kerr on Wednesday, April 3rd!
 
KaVo Kerr Group Finland is one of the biggest health care technology exporters in Finland. The company is top of the world in dental imaging product development and production, and both of these functions are executed in Tuusula facilities.
 
VTK organizes a free bus transport to the excursion, starting in front of K1 building in Otakaari 4 at 12:00. You can also arrive by your own means, but be on time when the excursion starts at 13:00 sharp. The address of KaVo Kerr is Nahkelantie 160, Tuusula.
 
The Dresscode in VTK excursions is dark suit.
 
Excursion is going to be approximately two hours and after that, the bus brings participants back to Otaniemi.

Annual meeting on Monday 11.3.2019 at 17.00

The Annual meeting of Aalto University Production Engineering Students is held on Monday 11.3.2019 at 17.00. The meeting takes place in the new club room. The headquarters of the club is located in Otakaari 1 at room H022a on the basement floor. The door has a VTK logo on it. All members are free to join the meeting! Excursion to Planmeca and Club evening!

Welcome to an excursion organized by The Club of Production Engineering students to Planmeca on Wednesday, March 20th!

Planmeca is a heathcare industry manufacturer of high tech machinery and CAD/CAM solutions. We’ll get to visit the production facilities and hear a bit more about the company.

VTK organizes a bus transport to the excursion, starting in front of K1 building in Otakaari 4 at 11:15. You can of course also arrive by your own means, but be on time when the excursion starts at 12:00 sharp. The address of Planmeca is Asentajankatu 6, Herttoniemi, Helsinki.

The Dresscode in VTK excursions is dark suit.

After the excursion, the bus comes back to Otaniemi, and we continue the evening with a laid-back club evening from 18:00 onwards in Gorsu in Jämeräntaival 5. VTK offers a chance to enjoy the sauna, some snacks and beverages.

Excursion to Murata 14.11.2018

Join VTK, the Club of Production Engineering Students as we inspect the facilites of the electronics manufacturer Murata on Wednesday, November 14th

We’ll learn a bit about 3D MEMS technology and see Murata’s clean room facilities at Vantaa

The visit starts at 3pm and finishes around 6pm. Please arrive on time at Myllynkivenkuja 6, 01621 Vantaa. The trip from the mechanical department at aalto takes around one hour. Gmaps route: https://tinyurl.com/VTKmurata

Ridesharing might also be an option. These can be agreed beforehand on VTK’s telegram: The dress code is a dark suit in accordance to the standards of the club.

New members’ night 17.10.2018

VTK – The club of production engineering students welcomes YOU to the new members’ night hosted by Konecranes at Hyvinkää on Wednesday, October 17th.

Come and here about the club and all that’s in store for the future and join the action!

You’ll learn everything you need to know about VTK and also get to tour the Konecranes factory. Dinner is served afterwards and the sauna is warm!

The bus starts from in front of the Mechanical department, Otakaari 4 at 13:30
The bus returns to Otaniemi in in the evening, around 21:00
The event is free!

There are 15 places available, sign up quick by October 10th the latest. With the same form you’ll sign up as a member of VTK, that’s free too!
